We are changing the website to update new dates for the 2023 season.
Lots of things are happening ON the farm – a new greenhouse is in the works. It is purposed for growing EARLY tomatoes – hopefully June and before July 4th.This new greenhouse will be situated at Oliver’s farm. the grading is completed and the greenhouse has been ordered. We have a new wood-burning outdoor furnace for the heat source.
We finished pulling out peach trees which were no longer productive and have ordered new peach and cherry trees to replace them.
We are working in the tunnels to keep up with the weeds. It is an on-going task that is never finished! We are picking lettuce, radishes, kale, chard and bok choi for the winter farm stand at St Luke’s in Alexandria.
We will keep updating you about what is happening on the farm and with the CSA and the website updates.
